morpheus8 burst: Learn more

what is it?

Morpheus8 combines the two technologies of microneedling and radiofrequency energy. The microneedling uses tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, which stimulates natural healing and collagen production. As the needles penetrate to a customizable depth (0.5 mm 7 mm depending on the area), they deliver heat into the deeper layers of skin and fat.

This heat causes Collagen contraction (immediate skin tightening), Fibroblast stimulation (long-term collagen + elastin growth, and Subdermal remodeling (helps with laxity and contouring). Because Morpheus8 reaches deeper than standard microneedling, it treats skin and underlying tissue, not just the surface.

Areas of the body most commonly treated include:

  • Face & Neck: fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity (jowls, sagging), jawline definition and neck tightening.
  • Skin Texture: large pores, acne scars, and uneven or rough texture.
  • Body: crepey skin (arms, thighs, abdomen), mild fat remodeling (submental, jawline, abdomen)

Why is it popular?

Deepest FDA-cleared RF microneedling device

Reaches deep dermis + subdermal fat for stronger tightening.

Minimal downtime

Redness and mild swelling usually resolve in 24–72 hours.

Works on all skin tones

Safe for Fitzpatrick I–VI because RF energy isn’t targeting pigment.

Noticeable tightening & lifting without surgery

Often called a “non-surgical facelift” when done on the lower face/neck.

Treatment Experience:

  • Before: Topical or injected lidocaine is applied, the provider customizes needle depth and energy based on area.
  • During: A stamping motion of the Morpheus8 handpiece. You may feel heat/pressure. Takes ~15–45 minutes depending on area
  • After: Redness (sunburn-like), pinpoint marks, and swelling for 1–3 days. Makeup allowed at 24 hours (unless otherwise instructed)
